Chapter 1

Sophie had always been an independent woman. She had grown up in a small village in Greece and had moved to the United States to pursue her career as a fashion designer. She had made a name for herself and had become quite successful. However, something had been troubling her lately. She had been experiencing a string of bad luck that had left her feeling anxious and helpless. She felt as if she was being watched, as if someone was casting an evil eye on her.

Sophie decided to visit her family in Greece to seek their advice. She arrived in her village and was greeted by her parents and siblings. They were all happy to see her, but they could tell that something was troubling her.
